Mother’s Day Celebration (May 2026)

Shakti World successfully hosted its meaningful Mothers Day celebration on Sunday, May 10th, 2026, at the Houston Yoga & Ayurveda Ashram in Cypress, Texas. The special morning event brought the community together to honor motherhood and the sacred cow (Gaumata). Attendees participated in a traditional Cow Pooja, prepared and fed meals to Gaumata using fresh fruits and vegetables, and engaged in enriching Gau Bhajans while learning about the profound cultural significance of cows. The day concluded with a guided tour of the peaceful ashram facilities, all while guests enjoyed a complimentary breakfast and tea.
